The Hindu American Foundation slam the California Senator for its statement after the Pahgam attack: don’t dismiss us

The Hindu American Foundation slammed California Senator Democrat Alex Padila for his response statement after the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April, killing 26 Indians. The Foundation said in its statement, the senator completely ignored the attack and recycled some things while attacking India’s domestic policies. “This reaction failed to mention the decades of Pakistan-supported terror, instead instead of echoing the biased narratives of the USCIRF, a body known to exclude-Hindu victims and eradicate Hindu victims of religious harassment.”“California is one of the largest Indian and Hindu American communities. When the components reach about terrorism, they deserve moral clarity and respect, not rejected rhetoric that blames the victims.”In his response to the Hindu American Foundation, the senator spoke about religious freedom, human rights in India and cited some figures without mentioning the latest events in the region. Unlike the reaction of the California Senator, the Foundation posted the statement of Republican Senator, Thom Tilis of Northern Carolina and appreciated her clarity on the issue “We are grateful for your firm support and for respecting the US-India partnership in the fight against terror. Thanks to the right of history.”Thom Tilis in his response to the Hindu America Foundation condemned the “targeting and butcher” of Indian citizens and tourists on 22 April. “I share my concerns about the constant danger that makes radical Islamic terrorism at home and abroad,” he wrote. Tilis wrote, “India has been an important ally for the United States in the war against terror, and we should support our colleagues, as they have been standing with us for years.”
