New Delhi: Air India’s Delhi-Landon Flight AI 2017 had to return to the terminal after taxi on Thursday as the pilots suspected a snag in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner (VT-TSN). The airline then arranged for another Dreamliner (VT-TSP), which closed around 6 pm. Both of these are B787s East-Vistara. In the last few days, the relatively new aircraft (it was merged in AI last November) has seen some snags. An AI spokesperson said: “Flight from Delhi to London on 31 July returned to the Gulf due to a suspected technical issue. The Cockpit crew decided to shut down the take-off run after standard operating procedures and brought the aircraft back for precautionary check.”“An alternative aircraft (an alternative aircraft (was)) was deployed to fly passengers in London as soon as possible. Our ground staff are expanding all support and care to guests to reduce the inconvenience caused by this unexpected delay. In Air India, the safety and well -being of our passengers is the highest priority,” said the spokesman.
