The Lufthansa plane fly without a pilot for 10 minutes; Captain, co-pilot loses consciousness in lavetry

The 43 -year -old captain, who left for the washroom, told the investigators that the first officers were fine, and were cautious when he left. There was a 30 -minute flight time left. So the captain thought that he could go to the toilet. He said that he returned after eight minutes, but was unable to reach the flight deck, although he entered the security door access code.The captain became frightened and called the deck through the intercom, which became unanswered. The captain then recorded an emergency code to open the gate. It was at the same time that the co-pilot gained its consciousness and opened the door manually from inside. A report from the Spanish Aviation Investigators showed, “The co-pilot was yellow, sweating and moving forward, the captain called the cabin crew for assistance. The co-pilot was given first aid by the crew and a doctor, who was traveling as a passenger and diagnosed with a possible heart condition.” The co-pilot, which fainted, said he did not know how long he was out. The report said, “Co-pilot said that he had lost consciousness and he could not remember when.
