Advisor follows that some media personnel have approached private homes of senior military officers, attempted to contact family members, and pursued stories unrelated to their professional duties. The Ministry has given serious attention to this behavior, such tasks are “to compromise in depth and potentially involved individuals for dignity, privacy and safety”. The ministry said, “In the context of ongoing operations like Operation Sindor, senior officials of the armed forces have come to the right way in the eyes of the public due to their leadership roles.” “It has come to the attention of the ministry that this increased focus has expanded the personal life of officers and their families beyond professional coverage.” Advisor reminds the public that armed forces personnel can play a public role, their families remain private citizens.   • Avoid publication or broadcasting of personal details, including residential addresses, photos of family members, or other non-interaction related information that is not in public interest.
  • Center media coverage Avoid speculative or infiltration reporting on professional and operating aspects of armed forces and leadership, and personal lives.
