New Delhi: Paris Olympic Quarter Finalist and Asian Championship Silver Medal Wrestler Ritika Hooda – who compete in women’s 76 kg category – has been relieved by the National Doping Anti -Doping Agency (NADA), as their samples have made positive return to the prohibited substances. UWW posted on its website: “By July 7, 2026, it was suspended for the following reasons. Nado India was relieved provisionally for ADRV.”The presence of restricted substances in the urine sample of the retica is still unknown. The wrestler was part of the Indian contingent for the upcoming UWW ranking series program in Hungary, but his entry has now been withdrawn.The reticulus was postponed as one of the medal contenders for India at the World Wrestling Championship scheduled in September. He has recently won a gold medal in the Ulanbatar ranking series in May.
