New Delhi: On Thursday morning, a prisoner was fired on parole by a rival gang while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Patna.The prisoner, known as Chandan Mishra, was accused of several murder cases, was admitted to Paras Hospital for treatment when unknown assailants opened fire and injured him inside the hospital premises. He is currently receiving treatment for a gun pellet wound.Patna Police reached the crime site to take stock of the senior superintendent of Kartikya Kumar. Talking to news agency Annie, he said that the shooting was under investigation.He also said that the Patna Police was in touch with the Buxar police to identify the members of the rival gang. “A criminal named Chandan Mishra, a resident of Buxar district, against whom dozens of murder cases are registered. He was transferred from Buxar to Bhagalpur Jail. Sandalwood was on parole and was admitted to Paras Hospital for treatment. The rival gang shot him. Jha died of injuries while being taken to the hospital.On Sunday, two persons, a lawyer and a teacher were shot dead in separate incidents in Patna and Saran districts of Bihar.RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav had previously criticized the state government rapidly, questioning that “the NDA government is ready to hear any truth or accept their mistakes”.“And now, a BJP leader is shot in Patna!
