SC sought Shukla’s response and posted further hearing in July.The SC sought the assistance of Attorney General R Venkatarmani and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who said Shukla’s comments were defamation and contempt. The bench directed YouTube channel to take video and stopped social media platforms from displaying clips.In the SC’s judgment, punishing advocate Prashant Bhushan for contempt in 2020, a three-judge bench, of which Justice Gawai was a part, said, “If a scary attack on judges is made, it will be difficult for them to work fearlessly and with the fairness of the approach to issues.,
