New Delhi: In the repetition of the heart of a past tragedy, a one and a half year old girl died when she accidentally fell into a boiling pot of Chole in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, about two years later her elder sister lost her life in a similar accident.The incident took place at 9 am on Friday in Dudi Bazar area, where Shailendra, a native of Jhansi, and his wife run a food stall on a roadside. Police said the child, Priya, was playing near the pot, while her parents were occupied with other works when she slipped and fell into a warm ship.He was taken to Dudi Community Health Center and later sent to the district hospital, but died on the same day due to his injuries.

Shailendra buried his daughter near the banks of the Kanhar river the next day.
