‘This is not a personal issue’: Former Australia captain Slam Kagiso Lack of Transparency in Rabada Drug case. Cricket news

Former Australian Test Captain Tim Paine has rapidly criticized the confidentiality around the unsuccessful drug test of South African Pesar Kagiso Rabada, seeking the situation “very wrong” and full transparency from cricket authorities.
Rabada recently revealed that it was subject to an provisional suspension after positive testing for a restricted recreational substance during the SA20 League in January. The fast bowler left the IPL last month, which featured only two matches for the Titans of Gujarat, citing “personal reasons” – one claim pine finds misleading.

“It smells smells. I do not like this use around personal issues, and it is not a personal issue that is being used to hide the goods,” Pine told Sen Radio. “If you have a professional sportsman who is tested for recreational drugs during a tournament in which he is playing, it does not come under personal issues for me.”
Who is that IPL player?
Pine argued that such cases come under violation of contract and require public accountability. “Taking drugs – entertaining or increasing performance – is not a personal issue that can be hidden for just one month. A man can be taken out of the IPL, went back to South Africa and let us slide it under the rug,” he said.

Do you agree with Tim Pine calls for transparency about Kagiso Rabada’s drug test?
Anti-doping agency (Wada) makes suspension of three months to four years compulsory for the use of recreational drug. However, no official clarity has been given about Rabada’s accurate offense, duration of sentence or body.
Pine said, “If he is going to get drugs and caught doing so, I think people are worth knowing what he has been taken, how long he is being rubbed, and who has approved it.”
