We are contesting elections in the limelight and outside. If they are not ready, I am ready to contest everywhere. Wait for the right time – announced the exact number of seats is too early to announce,” he said.Earlier, party state president and Sole MLA Akhtarul Iman said that the party has expressed its desire to both RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Congress leadership.“We are waiting for their response. We are ready to bury the hatchet despite the fact that RJD snatched out our four MLAs. We want to pursue these issues to achieve a big goal of defeating the NDA,” he said.He said, “People with equal ideologies should come under an umbrella if we are excluding the NDA in Bihar. RJD and Congress may be interested in power, but our intention is to fight for justice,” he said.In the 2020 assembly elections, AIMIM changed political mobility in the state after winning five seats in the Seakanchal region. The party contested 14 of its 20 seats in the state as part of the Grand Democratic Secular Front (GDSF) and won five: Amour, Jokihat, Bahadurganj, Baisi and Kochadhaman. The region has strategic significance to form the government for the ambitions of Mahagatantan, as both Congress and RJD have traditionally rely on the strong support from Yadav and Muslim communities.Later in 2022, four of the five MLAs of AIMIM joined the RJD.AIMIM was later convicted by both Congress and RJD for dividing the “secular” vote. The assembly elections are scheduled for the end of the year, where a high-dot fight is expected. National Democratic Alliance (NDA)- Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Bharatiya Janata Party led Janata Dal (United)- will face against Mahagatdanan, including Congress, RJD and Left parties.
