Thousands of demonstrations in Panama deal with the US Army

Panama City: Thousands of students and workers performed a planned increase in the US military presence around the country’s important interiotic shipping canal and other government policies in Panama on Tuesday.US President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to “withdraw the control of the Panama Canal” which was created and controlled by the United States by 1999.To overcome the pressure, Panama President Jose Raul Mulino agreed last month to allow American military personnel to deploy Panamanian-controlled bases with a canal for training, practice and “other activities”.The deal, which was seen as a major concession for Trump, met the Panamanis with Pushbacks, who oppose any alleged violation of their country’s sovereignty after the 1989 American invasion to remove the 1989 US General Manual Noriega.Tuesday’s performance in Panama City, the largest in three-week attacks and protests, was called to oppose Mulino’s dialect to reopen social security reforms, along with a huge open-pit copper mine.27 -year -old student Ishaq Alba told AFP, “Ever since Mulino took over (in July 2024), everything has gone to hell,” 27 -year -old student Isaac Alba, who participated in the performance, told AFP.
