Thunderbolts provided the UA certificate; CBFC instructs makers to mute the word oath for release of India

Marvel’s upcoming superhero film From Bijali It is only a few days away from its dramatic release in India. Beyond the release of Thursday, the film has been given a ‘UA 13+’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), but with some amendments.
According to a report on mid-day, CBFC has instructed the manufacturers to remove or mute some oath words including “A **,” “P ** K,” “D ** K,” and “B *** H”. The report further stated that Indian distributors initially discussed with the filmmakers whether they should combat the necessary changes. However, in doing so, the film would have been given a ‘A’ certificate, thus banning its audience, especially teenagers and young fans. A source explained to the portal, “It would also affect the film’s satellite and digital licensing possibilities.”
Finally, the team decided to follow CBFC’s instructions to ensure wide release.
At the same time, the film has allegedly achieved a similar rating in the US and the UK without any cut or changes.
