New Delhi: A Delhi-bound Indigo flight carrying Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was taken to Jaipur on Saturday night.
The incident inspired a strong response from the CM, which described the situation at the Delhi Airport as “operating anarchy”.
The flight flying from Jammu, the airport of the national capital remained in the air for about three hours before going to Jaipur due to a clear crowd or disruption. Passengers, including Abdullah, were left stranded at midnight, when the journey started again, there was no clarity on it.
Taking X, Abdullah wrote: “Delhi Airport is a bloody S ** T show (my French excuse, but I am not humble). After 3 hours in the air we reach Jaipur after leaving Jammu and so I am getting some fresh air on the footsteps of the aircraft at 1 o’clock.”
He also posted a selfie, which was briefly exiting, standing on the footsteps of the aircraft.
In Jammu region, there is a disruption between a wide wave of travel troubles. Earlier in the day, chaotic scenes were reported at Jammu Airport, where hundreds of passengers faced delays and cancellations. Flight operations inside and outside Srinagar were also excluded from the schedule due to bad weather, which had an impact on connecting flights including Abdullah carrying.
On Friday evening, IndiGo had already flagged off possible issues due to weather. In a follow -up advisor, the airline said: “Weather conditions in Srinagar are affecting flight operations.
