Times square subway was removed after suspected package, bomb squad investments

A suspected package was found on Monday morning at Times Square, causing immediate withdrawal of the area. The NYPD bomb squad and emergency services reached the spot as tourists vacated the area. The New York Police Department said that after receiving 911 calls about a suspicious equipment, the police responded on the site. The police issued a warning on social media, until it is cleared, people are asked to avoid this scene.NYPD said, “Expect emergency vehicles and delays in the surrounding area.”The blocked area is near the West 43rd Street and the 7th Avenue.
