The sixth edition of the toi dialogues – the Infrastructure Chapter was held in Lucknow on Thursday, which brings out policy makers, industry leaders, changemakers and experts to confuse panel discussion on urban development, smart mobility, sustainability and industrial development and confuse firecide chats. The incident also served as a networking hub for investors discovering opportunities in Uttar Pradesh for real estate developers, infrastructure consultants and investors.The last panel of the day, “Health and Heritage: Building A Flexible, Tourism-Pailed Uttar Pradesh”, Theme Digital Transformation: Integrating Health and Heritage was taken and operated by Sanjay Bhatnagar.The panel had Mukesh Kumar Meshram, Principal Secretary, Government of Tourism and Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh (IAS); Prati Mishra, Unit Head of Max Healthcare at Lucknow; Shantinu Gupta, the author of the monk who changed Uttar Pradesh; And Pooja Singh, Life Coach and my mother’s co-founder.When asked about UP’s health agenda, Pratik Mishra said, “Up has been produced with mythological medical schools, doctors are serving not only in the country but around the world.”Reacting to the question of Bhatnagar, whether there is a structured policy for medical tourism, Mukesh Kumar Meshram replied, “As we have not processed such policies under medical tourism, but we are in the process of doing so.”He further stated that, “UP has two aspects, one is medical tourism for hospitals and medical colleges, where people come to get treatment at low cost than other countries. The second is wellness tourism, which mainly focuses on preventive measures, especially after Covid -19.”Speaking about the role of her organization, Pooja Singh said, “We are contributing to the aspect of rural tourism, permanent tourism and wellness tourism. Our primary focus is transferring tourism lens to look at the soul from the visit to sightseeing.”On UP’s tourism ability, Shantinu Gupta praised the state’s infrastructure and successful organization of Mahakumb, keeping in mind the number of visitors on a large scale this year.The Lucknow version of the TOI dialogues also discussed the preparation of Defense-Linked Infrastructure, Maha Kumbh 2025, police modernization and heritage revival. Construction of previous versions in Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Varanasi, the program continues to work as a platform for dialogue and cooperation on the development of the infrastructure of UP, which attracts enthusiastic participation from government officials, investors and industry leaders.
