Travel to Brazil: PM Modi welcomed Operation Sindoor-Theme cultural performance in Rio; Conversation with Indian migrants | Bharat News

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a lively welcome to the Indian community on his arrival in Brazil, with a cultural dance inspired by Operation Sindoor. The room in Rio de Janeiro came alive with traditional Indian dance and folk music as members of the Indian migrants celebrated the Prime Minister’s visit. The stirring the theme stood out on Operation Sindoor- with the songPlaying in the backdrop “Saugandh Mujhe Is Miti Ki”, the performance praised the PM and played applause. The Prime Minister also took pictures with the dance group.Operation Sindoor was a major military aggressive started on 7 May, targeting nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and poked with an accurate missile strike. Key Jai-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Tabiba bases were killed in response to the Pahgam terror attack in Bahawalpur and Muridke, killing 26 civilians.The inspired dance was part of the reception as the Prime Minister is in Brazil to attend the 17th BRICS Summit (6-7 July) and to a state trip to Bascilia. He praised the reception phenomenon to reduce it as “lively” and “amazing”. “Members of the Brazilian Indian community gave a very vibrant welcome to Rio de Janeiro. It is surprising how they are connected to Indian culture and are also very emotional about India’s development!“He said in a post on X.At the summit, he is expected to discuss several global issues including security, climate action, AI, multilateral reforms and health cooperation. Bilateral meetings are also on the agenda with fellow leaders. In Brasilia, Modi will interact with President Luiz Eneasio Lula da Silva, which aims to deepen India -Brazil strategic partnership in areas such as defense, space, energy, commerce, technology, agriculture and community engagement. Next to his arrival, Indian native residents expressed their enthusiasm. Vijay Solanki, a long -time resident of Gujarat, said, “We are very excited today and feel honored to welcome our Prime Minister.” Another member, Pooja shared, “I have been living in Brazil for three years, and this is a proud moment for us.” PM Modi landed in Brazil after a visit to Argentina, where he met President Xavier Mile. His eight-day, five-nation tour (July 2-9) began at Ghana and includes Trinidad and Stops in Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia. He is scheduled to address Namibia’s Parliament on 9 July.
