Trump discontinued the proposal to allow Iran’s citizen nuclear promotion

US President Donald Trump on Monday rejected a proposal in Iran with his special messenger, which would have allowed Tehran to maintain low-level uranium enrichment for civil purposes. Trump insisted that any deal needs to completely eliminate its nuclear enrichment program to reduce US sanctions.“Under our possible agreement – we will not allow any promotion of uranium!” Trump posted on social media but there is no explanation whether he was talking about the proposal or not.Trump’s stance appeared to refute recent efforts by his messenger, Steve Witchoff, who allegedly gave Iran the option to continue limited promotion for use such as nuclear therapy and power in exchange for closing its heavy stronghold underground sites. The proposal also included a regional association to oversee the civil uranium enrichment, which is a concept for dialogue around the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.Tehran has denied that it is looking for nuclear weapons, but has refused to consider any deal that completely ends its enhancement activities. The US and Iran have recently held several rounds of direct nuclear dialogues, in the first years, because Trump has signed a deal as the best way to avoid military conflict. The latest resolution included allegedly important concessions that could instigate strong opposition from Israel and Israeli MPs in Washington. Trump rapidly criticized the 2015 nuclear deal and withdrew the US in 2017 during his first term.
