New Delhi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owasi on Sunday questioned Pakistan’s pitch for the Nobel Peace Prize for US President Donald Trump, when the United States conducted the attacks that targeted nuclear sites in Iran.The Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP asked whether Pakistan had supported Trump to release bombs on a sovereign nation.According to news agency ANI, Owissi said in Hyderabad, “We should ask Pakistanis if they want Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for this.”He further made fun of the military leadership of Islamabad, as Trump carried out the US attacks a few days after the Pakistan Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir for lunch.“Has General (Munir) of Pakistan had lunch with the US President for this? They all exposed,” he commented.The politician also warned of “serious consequences” for India, if a full -scale war broke in the Gulf and Middle East region, where Israel and Iran have been engaged in a military conflict since June 13. Israel is a staunch American ally. “We must also remember that more than 16 million Indians live in the Gulf and Middle East, and if the area explodes in a war, unfortunately, which is very likely, it will have a serious impact on the Indians living there,” said Owissy.He said that the region was important for India’s economy. The Hyderabad MP said, “The investment that Indian companies have made in all these Arab countries or Gulf countries, and sufficient quantity of foreign investment comes from the region.”The US targets in Iran were three nuclear sites, including Fordo. An underground facility, Fordow is the main enhancement place of up to 60 percent for the promotion of the Islamic Republic.
