UAE: Dubai is now inviting AI experts and companies to cooperate in the creation of AI-operated government services

Dubai Global is inviting AI innovators to co-design the next era of government services. The Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has officially begun to accept the application for the second version of the “Future of AI in the Government Services Accelerator”. Organized in partnership with Dubai Future Accelerators, an initiative by Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the program is inviting both local and international tech innovators and AI-centered companies from all over the world. This accelerator is designed to match the private sector AI expertise with the needs of the institutions of the Dubai government over 20. It targets four specific areas:

  • Increase existing public services through AI-managed privatization and efficiency.
  • Creating new services that solve surefire challenges beforehand.
  • To integrate AI in daily operations to run internal government productivity.
  • To make services more inclusive, by developing solutions that develop specifically solutions.

Program Description:Applications for the program are opened till 29 August 2025, selected companies have been invited to join an intensive, eight -week engagement in Dubai from 6 October to 28 November 2025. Participants will be hosted on site in Dubai, where they will work directly with government teams, AI experts and decision -makers when they develop and deploy actual solutions.The program is designed to eliminate financial and operational obstacles for participants. Startups will receive a fully sponsored housing and travel, allowing them to focus entirely on innovation. Importantly, the accelerator does not take an equity stake, ensuring that companies maintain their full ownership of their intellectual property.Participants will benefit from direct access to senior government officials along with daily cooperation along with subject matter experts in the relevant public sectors. This structure not only accelerates implementation, but also opens long -term partnership opportunities within Dubai’s developed AI ecosystem.DCAI Executive Director Saeed Al Falasi described the accelerator as a step towards making a city, where AI makes public services sharp, smart and more responsible. He said that the purpose of the program is to help Dubai in top cities of the world in distributing AI-managed public services with quality, efficiency and happiness at the center.Result from the first cycle Launched in 2024, the opening cycle attracted 615 companies from 55 countries, resulting in defines of AI use cases in 183, 75 of which were piloted in the actual government environment. In eight weeks, startups and government teams co-development and tested the AI applications to suit public sector needs, indicating Dubai’s serious commitment to innovation.

Dubai Center for Artificial Wisdom: Structure and Auritude

Established in June 2023, DCAI is a multi-agency initiative, led by the Digital Dubai Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) and Dubai Media Council, led by Dubai Future Foundation. It was launched under the direction of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktaum, Crown Prince of Dubai and DFF Board of Trustee. The main mission of DCAI is to score AI in Dubai’s government ecosystem. It works with three strategic columns:

  • Legislative and Policy: Developing the governance model, regulations and moral standards for adoption responsible AI.
  • Awareness and capacity-building: distributing AI literacy and training programs to civil servants and broad public.
  • Technology Adoption and Innovation: Participation with Startups, Tech Companies and Global Institutions to deploy AI in cases of real -world government use.

An important part of DCAI’s approach is to make AI trusted, inclusive and beneficial for every section of society-only technically advanced, but human centered and morally grounded.

Extension of ecosystem: AI seal to AI week

DCAI’s AI accelerator is just a pillar of a comprehensive strategy designed to convert Dubai into a global AI capital. Many major initiatives have been initiated under this vision: In January 2025, Dubai AI Seal is the first-type certification program that recognizes AI companies as reliable partners for government use. Seal -respected companies receive a unique serial number and classification, which can be shown on digital and marketing platforms. To work on UAE or Government of Dubai AI projects, certification under AI Seal has become an essential requirement. This promotes confidence and accountability in deploying advanced AI systems. Unveiled in May 2024, the initiative aims to train one million people in the emerging discipline of AI Prompt Engineering in three years. Participants receive practical skills in crafting and adaptation to signals for generative AI systems, the ability to be seen as fundamental for future digital workforce.In May 2024, Forest Million Prophens initiative was created on the success of the Global Principal Engineering Championship launched under the instructions of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed. Organized at the future museum, it attracted participants from around 100 countries, with competitions in literature, art and coding, awarded 1 million in awards for generation AI leadership. The 2025 editions hosted during the Dubai AI Week attracted more than 3,800 participants from 125 countries, with 24 finalists from 16 countries live in Dubai. Coding among the winners included Abdulrahman Al Marzuki (UAE), Ibrahim Hazo (Syria) in the video, Ibrahim Helmi (Canada) in Gaming and Yahya Kadaura (Palestine) in Kala. Organized by DCAI and supported by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the program gave part of AED 1 million in the awards and served as a major feature of Dubai’s growing AI talent agenda. Started during Dubai AI Week 2025, the Academy aims to train 10,000 professionals including government officials and business leaders in the AI leadership and application. Provides courses like Academy Aye for Civil Services And Leading at AI ageWith the aim of equipping leaders with skills to implement AI with strategic and responsibility. The course combines technical knowledge with business and policy insight, aligning with Dubai Universal Bloprint for AI and DIFC 2030 strategy.Launched in April 2025, Dubai AI Week, now in its second edition, is another major initiative of Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence, which has been held with Dubai Future Foundation under the instructions of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed. Future Museums, Emirates Towers, and held from April 21 to 25 at Madinat Jumera, the event included 180 sessions and workshops, more than 150 activism, delegation of 140+ countries and partnerships from more than 25 global technology companies. AI Retreat, Dubai Assembly for AI, Global Prompt Engineering Championship, AI Week with Headline Events in these schools, school Dubai AI Festival, and Machine Conferences, Week, weeks walked up with Dubai Universal Blummint for AI as a global hub for artificial intelligence.

Dubai Future Foundation: The Strategic Backbone

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) is a government unit responsible for shaping the city’s long-term innovation agenda through emerging technologies, strategic foresight and cross-sector cooperation. Established in 2016, the Foundation operates under the instructions of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktaum, and serves as an umbrella organization overseeing all initiatives, programs and projects operated by Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI).From accelerator and AI academies to global certification schemes, talent development efforts and Dubai AI Week, DFF ensures that every initiative is aligned with the extensive change goals of Dubai, especially mentioned in D33 Economic Agenda. Its role is not only to incubate future -prepared programs, but also to embed the rule, scalability, and moral deployment in Dubai’s AI ecosystem.

Strategic Alignment: Universal blueprint for D33 agenda and AI

From accelerator to certificates and academies, all these efforts come under the integrated vision prescribed in the Dubai Universal Blown for artificial intelligence.
