UK: British Sikh man stabbed badly in London; 27 -year -old accused of murder

A British Sikh man was badly stabbed in London, in which the police believe that there was an incident in which each other was known. The Metropolitan Police officially identified the victim, Gurmuk Singh – also known as Gary – on Thursday, and confirmed that he died on the spot despite the efforts of paramedics to save him. According to the post -mortem examination, Singh had a deadly knife wound on the left thigh.Officers arrested 27 -year -old Amdeep Singh on suspicion of murders. He has been accused since then and is due to a stand trial in Old Bailey on 5 January 2026. Four other person-one 29-year-old man and three women aged 29, 30 and 54 were also arrested and further investigation was released on pending bail.“A well -loving man”Describing Singh as a “well -loving person”, his family said in a statement: “Gary had a remarkable ability to join all what he met. A true social butterfly, nothing was not happy than being surrounded by his family. ,Jona York, Chief Inspector of Steering, led the investigation, stating that the incident appears isolated. He said, “This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community. There will be an increased police appearance in the area – I urge anyone to talk with my officials with concerns or information,” he said. As the investigation continues, an inquiry about the death has been opened and postponed.
