New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday praised the Border Security Force (BSF) for destroying 118 Pakistani posts in three days in response to Pakistan’s aggressive after Operation Sindoor.In his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after military action against Pakistan -backed militants, Shah said that the BSF has destroyed the enemy’s monitoring network, dealing with a significant shock, it would take years to repair them.Shah said, “When Pakistan responded to our anti -terrorism operations by attacking our borders and civilians, it was the BSF Jawans of Jammu Frontier who retaliated by destroying and damaging 118 positions,” Shah said.The Home Minister said, “They cut the piece of the entire monitoring system of the enemy in pieces – a system that would take them four to five years to rebuild.”Shah claimed that Pakistan suffered the biggest setback for its communication systems and surveillance equipment, presented to him “unable to wage a full information-based war for some time”.“It proves that even during Mayuram, you kept a cautious eye … based on your accurate intelligence, an exact counter-set was already well prepared. When the opportunity arose, you implemented it with success,” Shah said.He said, “Whenever there is any kind of attack on the borders of India – organized or unorganized, secret or overt – first of all our BSF tolerates to the brant. But they never stop to consider where the border is,” he said.Shah also thanked BSF soldiers on behalf of the government and the citizens of India. “Jayakar for BSF is equally loud for the army, and it is a matter of great pride for all of us.”Shah reiterated that the valor and sacrifice of the BSF jawan has earned national praise and stands as a symbol of India’s permanent resolution towards security.
