He said that the OCI portal would be an updated user interface to simplify the registration process for OCIS.The Home Minister emphasized that Indian -origin citizens living in various countries around the world should not face any inconvenience while going or living in India “.The new OCI portal attempts to address existing boundaries and increase user experience, depending on significant technological progress and reaction from OCI card holders in the last decade.The portal allows features like sign up; OCI registration forms the auto-filing of user profile details; Integrated online payment gateway; And classification of eligibility criteria and uploaded to be uploaded, depending on the application type.
