Uttarakhand CM Dhami accepts Union Cabinet for Green Energy Mission, Dhan-Dharma Krishi Yojana | Bharat News

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday welcomed the approval of the Union Cabinet of Prime Minister Dhan-Dharma Krishi Yojana and Green Energy Mission, which was priced at Rs 24000 crore and Rs 27000 crore respectively.In a post shared on his official handle on X, CM Dhami praised the Center’s move, described it as “proof of the government’s commitment” for the welfare of villages, farmers and poor under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.“Dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under your competent leadership, Prime Minister Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana to give approval of Rs 24 thousand crore to the Union Cabinet to give heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to the Union Cabinet for approval of Rs 27 thousand crore for the Green Energy Mission.”He said that this decision will strengthen the economy of farmers of the country and set a strong example in a step towards India’s sustainable development.“This decision is a proof of the government’s commitment to the welfare of villages, poor and farmers. This decision will not only strengthen the economy of the country’s food providers, but will also set a strong example for India towards sustainable development with balanced use of natural resources.”Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Chairman CCEA gave an increased autonomy to Maharratna Company NTPC, which has gained 60 GW capacity by 2032, to invest up to Rs 20,000 crore for renewable energy capacity against the current limit of Rs 7,500 crore by 2032.The enhanced delegation given to NTPC and its assistant NGEL will facilitate quick development of renewable projects in the country.This step will also play an important role in strengthening the infrastructure of electrical infrastructure and ensuring investment in providing reliable, round-round power access across the country. Renewable energy projects will generate direct and indirect employment opportunities for local people in the construction phase as well as during the stage of operation and maintenance.After the cabinet committee meeting on Economic Affairs (CCEA), an official release said, “It will promote local suppliers, local enterprises/ MSMEs and encourage entrepreneurship opportunities within the country besides promoting employment and socio-economic development of the country.”
