Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister K. Chief Minister Singh Dhami held a meeting at his official residence on Thursday.According to an official statement at the meeting, CM Pushkar directed the officials to conduct the campaign against corruption more effectively and submit a detailed report of actions taken so far in matters related to conversion.In addition, CM Dhami directed the officials to continue the verification campaign. He also said that immediate and strict action should be taken on getting information about any suspicious activity or person.The Chief Minister also stated that while making mango cards and other government documents, it should be ensured that no documents are issued without proper verification.Meanwhile, about the property encroachment, the Chief Minister directed the officials to continue the ongoing campaign against it and ensured that the land which has been encroached-free does not recur.Dhami has instructed the authorities to make a detailed evaluation of the enemy’s property encroachment and submit a comprehensive report.During a review meeting, CM insisted on giving priority to local workers for construction work on government buildings, including the cultural identity of the state and traditional mountain architecture in his design.Additionally, CM Dhami directed the authorities to launch a intensive investigation campaign to increase security system in border areas and ensure security and vigilance.Meanwhile, in a separate program today, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (retired) offered prayers at Gurdwara Sri Hemcant Sahib in Rishikesh. The pair will mark the first batch of pilgrims for Sri Hemcunt Sahib Gurdwara in Chamoli district, marking the beginning of the annual pilgrimage season.Hemkund Sahib is considered the fifth dham of Uttarakhand. This gurudwara is one of the most revered Sikh pilgrimage sites.Hemcunt Sahib (also known as Hemkund Sahib) is visited by thousands of devotees around the world every summer. The gurudwara is located near a lake, and it is believed that the 10th Sikh Guru, Gobind Singh, meditated on the site.
