Very ‘awake’ for America? Donald Trump takes us out of UNESCO; Dei policies, Pro-Filistini, Pro-China Tilt Prime Causes

US President Donald Trump excluded the US from UNESCO in support of “Vok, divisive cultural and social causes” including DEI policies, pro-Pilstinians and supporters China.“Continuous participation in UNESCO is not in the national interest of the United States,” the AFP quoted the State Department spokesman.
Back in February, Trump directed the 90-day review of the US role in UNESCO, especially focusing on investigating any “anti-Jewish or anti-Israel spirit” within the organization. The New York Post, citing the White House official, said, “After reviewing, the administration officials raised the issue with UNESCO diversity, equity and inclusion policies as well as its supporters Palestinian and supporters China bias.”“China has taken advantage of its impact on UNESCO to carry forward global standards, which are compatible with the interests of Beijing,” the official said.White House Deputy Spokesperson Anna Kelly said, “President Trump has decided to withdraw the United States from UNESCO-which supports Vok, divisive cultural and social causes that are fully out with commonness policies that Americans voted in November.”Kelly said, “This President will always keep America first and the membership of our country in all international organizations will align with our national interests.”Critics have indicated UNESCO’s “anti-racism toolkit” in 2023 and its 2024 “Transforming Mentellia” as an example behind Trump’s concern. The toolkit urged the member states to embrace the “anti-racist” policies and attach themselves into the “race” in the form of leading voices for social justice, facing their history of racism and committed to equity-intensive reforms. The states initially took out of the United Nations agency during the administration of the then President Ronald Reagan in 1983, arguing that the UNESCO had more politicized on almost every issue, shown a clear reputation towards free societies, especially free markets and a free press, and engaged in uncontrolled budgetary development.
