‘Very poor policies’: Donald Trump ruled the G20 visit in South Africa; Land improvement, white minority criticizes the claim of ‘genocide’

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday refused to attend the G20 summit in South Africa in this November, describing it as “very bad policies” and repeated widely infamous claims, saying that white citizens in the country were being systematically targeted and killed.Asked if he was asked on the Air Force One, whether he would travel at the summit of leaders in November, “No, I think I will probably send someone else, because I have a lot of problems with South Africa. They have some very bad policies … many people are being killed. So I think I will probably not.Trump has repeatedly criticized South Africa during his second term, claiming that white citizens, especially farmers, are being targeted. The claims were enhanced by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, born in South Africa.The Trump administration has also raised the issue with the South Africa’s Land Express Act signed in January, aimed at addressing land ownership inequalities contained in the era of apartheid.Washington has opposed the law, arguing that it can confiscate arbitrariness of white -owned land. South African President Cyril Ramposa has rejected the interpretation that defends the policy as part of the broad efforts of economic justice.In May, Trump surprised South African authorities by playing a video during the White House meeting with Ramposa, claiming that the “genocide” of the white minority was shown, which was present with reporters.The Trump administration has cited harassment claims in giving shelter to the African minority of South Africa. The US also imposed 30 percent tariffs on South African goods starting on August 1.Earlier this year, US State Secretary Marco Rubio also boycotted a G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Johannesburg.
