Virginia Mall Skare: Man tries to kidnap 3 years old; Court records show history of violence

At the Virginia Shopping Center, a mother had tried to kidnap a disturbing child, who saw a person carrying her 3 -year -old daughter. According to the court records quoted by the New York Post, the suspect, 26 -year -old Andrace Cesures Kaldin, has a history of violence and the first schizophrenia was diagnosed. The incident occurred on July 18 at the Fair Ox Shopping Center in Fairfax County. The surveillance footage issued by the County Sheriff’s office showed Kaldin after raising the child in his arms after wandering from an indoor play area and going away. The girl’s father, who was looking at her, immediately called his wife, who was shopping in a jCpenney. She was quickly located Jalalin with her daughter on the second floor and faced her. Kaldin handed over to the child without resistance and claimed that he was trying to help the girl find her parents as per criminal complaint. He then ran into a vehicle in the mall, which was reported to be stolen from a nearby auto shop just before the incident. Police later tracked the car at a hotel in Chantili, where Jalalin was arrested. Court documents suggest that Kaldin has a violent past, including several attacks, including his family. In 2024, he was charged with attacks and batteries, malicious wounds and property damage, listed as victims with his mother, father and brother. Despite being out on bail, he was again accused of assaulting his family. A psychiatry evaluation during legal proceedings diagnosed him schizophrenia. All the allegations related to family incidents were eventually removed. Kaldin is now accused of kidnapping a minor and grand larler. He is being held without bonds at Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
