New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday dismissed the allegations of manipulation of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in the voter list, stating that the Congress -led Karnataka governments use the same election role for the census policy of their caste.Sources told ANI that the Karnataka cabinet approved the use of electoral rolls as the basis for conducting caste survey. Sources in the ECI said, “At the same time Lop (Rahul Gandhi) was dropping a atomic bomb on the electoral role, the Congress government was vouning them for their authenticity on the basis of their most important policy of caste census,” said ECI sources.On Thursday, Rahul alleged that 1,00,250 “fake votes” were made in the Mahadevpura assembly section in Bangalore Central Lok Sabha constituency to ensure BJP’s victory. The ECI said that Rahul had never submitted a self-composed letter on the matter in the past, and that its reactions for similar complaints sent through other institutions were later released by him. “For example, he raised the Maharashtra issue on 24 December.
