Watch: After ‘Big Unit’, Ravi Shastri commented on Big Fella’s dance in Manchester

A fan was captured at the stand on the last day of the 4th Test at Old Trafford (Scramgabs).

Former India head coach and cricketer Ravi Shastri once again proved why he is one of the most entertaining voices behind the mic. During the fourth test between India and England at Old Trafford, Shastri gave a second gem of a moment and this time did a lot for the pleasure of a dancing fan in the stand. As India’s Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar batted on the last day with a grit, the cameras instigated the crowd, wearing an Indian ODI jersey and a fan wearing a shiny pink bucket hat. The moment the fan felt that he was on the screen, he spread on his feet and started dancing, drawing cheers from fellow audiences.

Shastri, on the commentary, could not oppose the occasion, and said, “Oh, he is enjoying herself. He is a big fan. He is a chirpi. As soon as the sun comes, he is on his toes. Look at him. Look at him. Oh, he can move forward. What a celebration is!” The clip quickly scored rounds on social media, fans praised Shastri for his simple humor. This was not the first time he went viral for such moments. During an India-New Zealand match in October 2024, Shastri saw a fan enjoying an ice cream cone and took a pinch that the man was trying to hide it with cameras tearing it. Shastri jokingly called the man a “big unit” in the air.
