Watch: Al Jazeera Anchor returned tears reporting the deaths of allies; Network condemnation attack

The anchor of Al Jazeera News reported his tears, reporting about the death of his five colleagues, who lost their lives in an Israeli strike on Sunday. A video is going viral, where an al -Jazeera anchor was seen holding his tears back while reporting. On Sunday, five al-Jazeera journalists, including the famous correspondent Anas al-Sharif, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a tent of journalists in Gaza city. Al Jazeera confirmed that five of its employees were killed in the strike: correspondent Anas Al-Sharif, Reporter Mohammad Kreikeh, and camera operator Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammad Nufal and Momeman Aliva. The group had shelter in a tent from the al-shifa medical complex-a long-term base for the media crew. The 28-year-old Al-Sharif was one of the most recognizable Arabic-language journalists who covered the war, who were famous for his frontline dispatch from North Gaza. His deaths have intensified concerns over journalist security in Gaza, where local reporters have shook almost all frontline coverage due to an Israeli military escort ban on foreign presses. In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) described Anas Al-Sherif as a “Hamas Terrorist”, who used journalism as a cover. He claimed wisdom from Gaza, including roster, training records and salary documents – proved his affiliation. According to the IDF, Al-Sharif led a Hamas Cell responsible for organizing rocket attacks on Israeli citizens and soldiers. “A press badge is not a shield for terrorism,” read in the statement. The army also accused Al Jazira of integrating Hamas’s operatives in its reporting teams. Israel has long accused the Qatar-based networks of bias, while Al Jazeera says such claims are politically motivated attempts to justify attacks on their journalists.Al Jazeera condemned the strike as a “bang and prefabricated attack” on the freedom of the press, accusing Israel of deliberately targeting his journalists after repeatedly abetment by Israeli officials. The network stated that the slain reporters were finalizing in Gaza, distributing live, unfolded accounts of human crisis. The broadcaster warned that the murders were part of a comprehensive effort to “silence the truth” about the war, and immediately called for international intervention. It argued that continuous impurities for such attacks only increase more violence against the press, urging governments to pressurize Israel to prevent media workers from targeting.
