Watch: R Ashwin leads to three missed run-out after Fumes of Comedy of Aerrs

Veteran India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin found himself at the center of another dramatic moment in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) on Saturday. While playing for Dindigul dragon against Siechem Madurai panthers, Ashwin’s misunderstanding threw snowball in a comedy of errors, resulting in a three-run-out opportunities on not one but a single delivery. The incident came out on the second-final ball of Madurai’s innings. Batter Gurjapneet Singh fired the ball for additional cover, where Ashwin was fielding. Spotting a run-out chance, Ashwin quickly fired a throw at the end of the non-strayer, but was not collected cleanly. Seeing the thunder, the batsmen caught another run. The chaos continued as another throw to the end of the striker from the short mid-wicket, which also wandered, allowing the pair to score for the third run. A final attempt by Short Third Man also missed his mark, although this time the batsmen did not carry out their luck further. Ashwin, blind fierce, stood motionless on the field, not only with himself, but also with his peers for muddy fielding that turned a straight single into three runs.

This is not Ashwin’s first controversial moment. Earlier, in a match against I Dream Tiruppur Tamizens, after being excluded to LBW, he made a warm exchange with the umpire – a decision that he felt was wrong as a pitch as a pitch outside the ball. In frustration, he hit his pad back on the way to the dugout with his bat, an acting that later received a fine. While Triple Run-Outs were fans in online partition in Fiasco, it is clear that Ashwin hopes that sharp cricket from his behalf. With TNPL heating, everyone’s eyes will be on experienced campaigners, to see how he channels his fiery passion in further sports.
