New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Sunday stopped his convoy to assist the youth injured in a road accident in Bhopal, ensuring that the victim was taken to the hospital without any delay.According to an official statement, the incident occurred near Chetak Bridge, while Chauhan was on his way to participate in a Jain community program in Awadhpuri region. The minister noticed that a mob gathered on the roadside and asked his team to find out what happened.The statement said, “On inquiry, he came to know that a young man was injured in a road accident and he was lying without thinking. He arranged to deliver the injured to a nearby hospital for a vehicle in his convoy and deputed an officer from his team with the injured person.”Chauhan also approached the hospital doctor by phone and requested immediate medical care for the youth. The statement said that the minister emphasized the need to pay immediate attention to get proper treatment to the victim.
