Watch: Three blasts killed Moscow’s trade district

Three explosions were carried out at Moscow’s Central Business District on Wednesday. According to the Russian state media, the incident began when a car burst into an underground parking in a shopping mall, causing a fire.
Many Asnumai videos on social media showed a huge fireball, after which there was thick smoke in the sky near the Afimol City Shopping Center by the Moskwa River.
The footage revealed deep smoke near the Afimol City Shopping Center located on the banks of the Moskwa River.
Local officials said the fire has been extinguished, although no official statement has been issued about the casualties or damage limit.
The reason for this is still unknown, and it is not clear whether it was a planned attack.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Russian Army reported explosions in an important military storage facility in Moscow, blaming the incident to “security violation”.
The Ministry of Defense said, “As a result of a fire in the area of a military unit in the Vladimir region, the ammunition stored in a warehouse was carried out.”
The Ministry of Defense said, “According to preliminary information … the reason for the fire was a violation of safety standards in work with explosive material.”
In summer in 2022, five individuals hit a comparable incident at the depot, as reported by local authorities, and in March 2025, the residents of Barsovo village were taken out after a drone strike.
