‘We are going to come for you’: Rahul Gandhi’s message to EC on Bihar Sir; Claims to be ‘100% evidence’ of ‘cheating’ in Karnataka | Bharat News

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi on Thursday carried forward his attack against the Election Commission and accused of “enabling” electoral fraud in Karnataka. The Congress leader said that his party has a “100 percent evidence” of the alliance voter manipulation in Karnataka and warned the voting body that he would not remain silent.Gandhi said, “Not 90 percent, when we decide to show it to you, this is 100 percent evidence.”“I want to send a message to the Election Commission: If you feel that you are going to get away with it, if your officials feel that they are going to get away with it, you are wrong. You are not going away with it, because we are going to come to you,” said the Leader of the Opposition. He alleged that the manipulation included thousands of unauthorized new entries of voters aged 50, 60 and 65, and to remove valid voters above 18 years. “We only saw a constituency and we found it. I am completely convinced that the constituency is the drama after the constituency. Thousands and thousands of new voters, how old they are? – 45, 50, 60, 65, thousands and thousands of people in a constituency. Gandhi said that the alleged misconduct is also taking place during the special intensive amendment of the election role in the pole-bound Bihar.“The Election Commission is not working as the Election Commission of India,” he said. “Today he made some statements. It’s full nonsense.”Other opposition leaders including Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party, Tejashvi Yadav of RJD and TR Baloo of DMK joined protests inside the Parliament complex, “Sir has killed democracy” and read “Justice, Justice, Justice”. Tejashvi Yadav said that even if necessary, Mahagathanan can also consider boycotting elections. The opposition alleges that the SIR process is targeting the marginalized voters and there is an attempt to separate the sections of voters before the state elections. Congress leaders have accused the ruling BJP of siding and not responding to increasing concerns over electoral integrity. In response, the EC released a rescue of its amendment process, stating that its purpose was to ensure clean electoral rolls and to remove unqualified voters. The Commission said that it was working within its constitutional mandate and asked political parties to rise above their ideologies.“Should the Election Commission allow fake votes in the name of deceased, migration or foreign voters?” It asked in a statement. “Is the authentic voter list not being prepared by the Election Commission through a transparent process, fair elections and the foundation for a strong democracy?” Even after the EC defended itself in the Supreme Court, the opposition parties continued their opposition for the fourth straight day, demanding proper discussion in both houses, which they call the voter list amendment process misuse of the process.
