In a major decision, which would leave millions of students worldwide in Limbo, the Donald Trump administration ordered a stagnation on all the prescribed interviews for student visa applications. All American embassies and consular sections are being sent to a cable signed by State Secretary Marco Rubio. The cause of suspension is a broad social media veating, for which the administration wants to prepare first. The cable states states, “In the preparation of the essential social media screening and expansion of the veating, the Consular section should not add any additional student or exchange visa appointment capacity, until further guidance is issued, which we guess in the coming days,” in the cable states.
