When Anushka Sharma cried after losing her award for Asin for Asin for Ghajini: ‘Debut was mine …’.

Anushka Sharma once shared that she feels disappointed and even cried after losing the best female debut award to Asin. Both were nominated in the same category – Ashqa for Rab added And Asin for Ghazini. In an old interview, Anushka admitted that she thinks that she would win as Asin had already done Ghajini in Tamil and Hindi.

Anushka’s disappointment on the award
In an interview on a look with Luk Hu Talking in 2018, Anushka shared that she was quite upset about not winning the best female debut award. He had assumed that since Asin had already acted in Ghajini in many languages and had years of experience, the award would go to him instead.
The actress further expressed that she felt that she was really entitled to the award as Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was her first film, and she was a newcomer who needed encouragement. She was convinced that she would win, but when Asin received it, she was deeply disappointed. Although she clapped for the winner, she later cried like a child, how after disappearing on a school certificate.
