White House to create $ 200 million state ballroom; Construction begins in September, aims to remove space obstacles

The White House on Thursday announced that it would begin construction of the “White House State Ballroom”, which is a major new addition to the President’s campus with the aim of addressing the long -term space boundaries for official incidents.The project of $ 200 million funded by US President Donald Trump and private donors will begin in September and will be built on the site of the current East Wing – a structure that was originally built in 1902 and was later modified.Spread up to 90,000 square feet, the ballroom will give a seat to 650 guests, which exceeds the current East room capacity.The construction is expected to be completed before the end of Trump’s current term.The White House said in a statement, “For 150 years, presidents, administration and White House employees have pity for a large event space on the White House Complex, which can hold more guests much more than permission.” “President Donald J. Trump has expressed his commitment to solve this problem on behalf of future administration and American people.”Currently, the main functions are hosted under temporary tents installed about 100 yards from the main building. The new permanent structure will end the need for such establishments while maintaining architectural stability with historical residence.“White House is one of the most beautiful and historical buildings in the world, yet the White House is currently unable to host the major works honoring world leaders and other countries, which is said to be without installing a large and lewd tent at a distance of about 100 yards from the main building entrance”.“The White House Bowlroom will be quite different from the main building of the White House, but at the same time, the subject is and the architectural heritage will be almost identical,” it said.Trump has held meetings to finalize design and planning with officials of White House Staff, National Park Service, White House Military Office and US Secret Service. The US Secret will provide service safety promotion.The project will be led by McCry Architects, a firm in Washington, which is known for classical design work. CEO Jim McCrary said, “I am honored that President Trump has assigned me to help me bring this beautiful and necessary renewal to the People’s House.” Clarke Construction will serve as General Contractor, with the title of the engineering team.“President Trump is a builder sincerely and is an extraordinary eye for expansion,” the statement said, citing the Chief of Staff Susie Wils, the Chief of Staff of the White House. “The President and Trump White House are fully committed to working with appropriate organizations to preserve the special history of the White House.”
