Indian rider Anush Aggarwal won his first win at the Dressage event at Jubilmsteternier Hofjizmer Open with his mare Floriana. Paris Olympics representative Aggarwal scored 69.891 percent marks to lead a six -member competition, where all other participants were from Germany.The second and third places were claimed by Piya Piyotroveski and Katrina Hemer respectively. Born on 23 November 1999 in Kolkata, Anush Aggarwal has emerged as one of India’s most prominent horse riding athletes, specializing in dressage – a discipline that was often described as “ballet on horse”. His journey began at the age of three, but the Olympic gold medalist Huberts Schmit was his move to Germany at the age of 17 to train under the Huberts Schmidt, which actually changed his career.Agrawalla made history by becoming the first Indian dress rider to compete in the Fei World Equastriar Games (2022). The same year, he played an important role in the performance of India’s success at the Asian Games in Hangzo, won India’s first medal in Team Gold and personal bronze-individual dressage.
