Who is Joseph Pneumor? American Embassy Firebomb suspects who shouted ‘America’s death’ and threatened Donald Trump
According to the US Department of Justice, a dual citizen from the United States and Germany has been accused of burning the US embassy in Tel Aviv using Molotov Cocktail and making an online threat to kill US President Donald Trump. The 28 -year -old, Joseph Pneumer, who claimed online as the founder and CEO of a mysterious company called Atlas Light Company, was excluded from Israel and arrested on reaching New York on Sunday. He made his first presence at the Federal Courthouse in Brooklyn, where he was ordered to be in custody till the trial.According to the US Department of Justice, Pneumer traveled to Israel in April 2025. Last week, he was out of the US embassy in Tel Aviv with a backpack and allegedly tried to start the firebomb attack.He approached a security guard, spit on it, and tried to run away from the scene, leaving his bag behind. When Israeli officials discovered backpacks, they found several molotov cocktails, flammable liquid -rich equipment. He was later tracked and arrested at a nearby hotel.Also Read: US arrested man accused of firebomb plot against embassy in IsraelPrior to the attempted attack, Neumeyer posted a disturbing content on his Facebook page, including: “Join with me because I burn the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death of America. Death and F — West.” Officials also say that he posted calls for the murder of President Trump.They were accused of attempting to destroy the US embassy by a fire or explosive, and if convicted, the minimum five years and 20 years of jail are faced.The matter is being controlled by the Eastern District of National Security and Cybercrime Section of New York, with the support of FBI offices, state diplomatic security service department and Israeli officials. Neumeyer is in custody and more legal proceedings are pending.
