New Delhi: RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav on Thursday demanded accountability from the election body on the release of two epic numbers to the Election Commission.Yadav told reporters, “If there were two epic numbers issues, who is the mistake? And they ask me clarification,” Yadav told reporters.He further stated that he did not receive any notice from the Patna Registration Department, not from the pole body.“I have not received any notice from the Election Commission, but from the Patna Registration Department, and I will give a good answer,” he said.Patna Election Registration Officer (ERO) requested Yadav to present the details of the epic card mentioned during his August 2 press conference. They have been asked to provide information by the afternoon of August 8 for further investigation.“The description of the epic card you mentions mentioned in the press conference on 02.08.2025 were requested to be fully examined, but so far, a copy of the desired documents and epic cards has not been provided from your level. Therefore, it is again requested that the details should be ignored until the afternoon of 08.08.2025.Yadav initially claimed that his name was missing from the new draft voter list released on August 1, and later alleged that his epic number had changed. However, the EC denied the claims, stating that it was thoroughly investigated that their name is seen in serial number 416 of Polling Station 204 located in the Library Building of Bihar Animal Science University.
