The much awaited meeting among the rivals since the Paris Olympics 2024, where Nadeem won Gold and Chopra achieved silver, it would not be physical.The absence of Nadem is due to recent surgery on his right calf last month, his coach dropped him from the competition. The reason for Chopra’s return is not clear.Chopra started the 2025 season, which began in April with a victory at Potch Invitational in Potchefstroom, South Africa. He followed it with a historic second place in the Doha Diamond League, where he reached 90.23 meters and achieved the first throw of more than 90 meters.The Indian athlete continued her strong performance with the second place in Poland in Poland. He then won the Paris Diamond League and the Ostrava Golden Spike with a consecutive win with a throw of 88.16 meters and 85.29 meters respectively.
