‘You are a coward when you run away’: South African President Ramposa saw Africanrs as a slams as Trump

Soth African President Cyril Ramfosa condemned a group of refugees in the United States, calling him “cowardly” to escape from the country. Speaking on Monday, Ramfosa said that those who were turning their backs with South Africa’s reconstruction efforts and avoiding facing their challenges.Speaking at an agricultural program in a free state, Ramfosa said that those who left were leaving their country instead of helping to move forward. “As South African people, we are flexible. We do not run away from our problems. We should stay here and solve our problems,” he said. “This is a real cowardly task.”Ramfosa said that he believed that those who had gone will soon regret it: “I can bet you that they will come back soon because there is no country like South Africa.”Afrikaners, a white ethnic minority, descended from Dutch, German and French settlers, have been at the center of a growing row between Washington and Pretoria. The Trump administration claims that the group faces racial discrimination in South Africa, cited for untoward allegations of land seizures and violence against white farmers. The move has rapidly criticized the move, called it a deformity of reality and a protest has been done for millions of refugees fleeing around the world, which have been denied entry into the US under Trump’s policies.President Trump, speaking as a batch before the arrival of African on Monday, landed at Dualus International Airport in Virginia, reiterating his claim that a “massacre” was happening in South Africa. “This is a genocide that is happening,” he said, no evidence was given, but insisted that he would raise the issue directly with Ramposa during his scheduled meeting at the White House on 21 May.Speaking at Ramposa, first Abidjan, said that he had already faced Trump in a phone call, which he had called misleading stories. He said, “I told him that those people who are being told you are against changing back in South Africa.” He further told reporters that Africans “are not fit in the definition of a refugee”.The South African government has repeatedly denied that white citizens including Africans are subject to state-backed oppression. Officials have accused the Trump administration of using racial stress on what Pritoria saw as an inappropriate attack on its sovereignty and change agenda.More than 8,000 white South African people are believed to have expressed interest in the US rehabilitation plan.
