Youth sued US climate orders to Trump

Washington: Twenty -two young Americans sued the Trump administration on Thursday, arguing their executive orders to expand fossil fuel development and end climate security, violating their fundamental rights for life and freedom.The plaintiff, mainly from Montana, where the case was filed in a federal court, along with other people from Hawaii, Oregon, California and Florida, President Trump and several federal agencies were named in their trial. The case targets executive orders, blocking clean energy projects and intensifying oil, gas and coal extraction on public land and directed “American Emergency” and directed agencies “American Energy”. It argues that the administration has illegally suppressed public access to federal climatic science. “These youth stand to challenge executive orders as violating their rights of life, safety and health,” a lawyer with a non -profit organization said that the case was brought.
