Yusuf Pathan comes out of the all-party delegation; TMC says that ‘Center cannot decide unilaterally’. Bharat News

New Delhi: Trinmool Congress (TMC) MP Yusuf Pathan has chosen All-a-party delegation The Center chose him as a party representative, PTI described the party sources. TMC indicated that the selection was “unilateral” and should have been decided by the party leadership. “Although the exact reason for Pathan’s decision is not clear, both West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee said that the Center should not have the right to choose the party’s representative for the delegation. However, Mamta Banerjee clearly mentioned that the party did not intend to boycott the delegation.“It is wrong to say whether we are boycott or not. They need to inform the party. The parliamentary party discusses bills in Parliament. It decides about Parliament, and that too, after consulting with the party. I am the president of the parliamentary party in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.”“However, we are never informed. We will definitely send a representative if they inform us. Why we will not? The dispute here has no meaning. We are completely with the government,” he said. “Which party will represent the Center, it cannot decide which party it will represent. It is to be decided by the party leadership. If you ask for a representative, we will give you five names. But the Center also needs to show and call your good intentions for extensive consultations with all the parties in the opposition.”The Congress party has also questioned the selection criteria of the Center for the delegation, called “dishonest”, as it rejected all the four names suggested by the Grand Old Party and chose Shashi Tharoor among others. The Center on Sunday unveiled a list of seven representatives involved in political leaders, MPs and former ministers of various parties, who tasked to present India’s firm Rukh against terrorism in view of Operation Sindhor.
