New Delhi: External Affairs Minister K Jaishankar on Friday welcomed the United States verdict to nominate resistance front (TRF) as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) and a specially nominated Global Terrorist (SDGT). TRF, a proxy of banned Lashkar-e-Tyiba, was behind a terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 civilians.In a post on X, Jaishankar called the move a strong show of Indo-US anti-terrorism cooperation. He thanked US Secretary Marco Rubio and the State Department for action against TRF and said that the group had openly claimed responsibility for a fatal attack.He said, "Zero tolerance to terrorism.
