Bangladesh Air Force training crashes in school at Jet Dhaka; A hit – footage appears fire, smoke billing appears

A Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed at a school in Uttara area of Dhaka on Monday, killing at least one person and injuring several others.Jet was identified as an F -7 BGI, which went to the milestone school and college premises, while the students were present in the campus. The aircraft left for a regular training mission but crashed around 1:06 pm.The accident sent shockwaves through the area, as emergency services reached the spot.According to the Daily Star report, at least 13 people were injured. Fire and rescue teams from the army reached the spot.The Bangladesh Army’s Public Relations Office confirmed in a brief statement that the aircraft was of the Air Force. The statement did not explain the cause of the accident or did the pilot drop out.Talking to reporters by phone, Fire Officer Lima Khan said, “at least one person was killed and four others,” but four others were injured, while talking to reporters by the phone.A spokesperson of the Milestone School and College confirmed that the aircraft crashed near the school gate, while the classes were going on. The school official told BDNews24, “The aircraft fell at the gate and crashed nearby. There was a category of session where the plane crashed. The injured are being taken out one by one.” The footage showed smoke rising from the school building as the rescue team worked to secure the area and transport the injured.Officials have initiated an investigation to determine that due to the accident of Chinese -made F -7 BGI, a type of commonly used by Bangladesh Air Force for training mission.
